You can set high expectations and support your faculty in creating the forward-thinking and effective curriculum your students deserve.
The campus has remarkable resources for supporting inclusive teaching and experiential learning, including but not limited to those listed below. You can encourage your faculty to take advantage of them. Consultation with these resources is often recommended to faculty who wish to improve their teaching or to departments seeking to update their class offerings.
- A great place to start to learn about resources for inclusive teaching: Advancing Equity and Inclusion (Berkeley's Center for Teaching and Learning)
- You can strongly encourage all of your new Senate faculty to participate in the Teaching Excellence Colloquium (also in the Center for Teaching and Learning)
